My first Ogden half. The course is really pretty. I didn't mind the rain at all, much better than overheating. This is the first half/full where I've kept a pretty steady pace for the whole race rather then slowing down so I'm really happy about that. Especially with my lackluster training... Here are a few additional highlights: - the sprinklers turning on at the start of the race while everyone was waiting for the port-o-potties. - so much rain that my headphones shorted out by mile 5. - running back up the course for 20+ minutes to find a friend, but they had already finished. doah - sitting at the bag claim area forever shivering to death. - watching the top 5 marathon runners finish the race. splits: 1- 9:37 2- 9:14 3- 9:22 4- 8:49 5- 8:43 6- 9:13 7- 9:00 8- 8:44 9- 8:51 10- 8:47 11- 9:04 12- 9:02 13- 9:05
